It has become quiet around the Audi TT. Apart from a large recall campaign just started because of problems with the airbag, you don't hear anything new from the sporty coupe or roadster. It's good that there are the boys and girls from APR LLC (APR Performance). They have an extensive body kit, various performance enhancements and a sports exhaust system from Akrapovic for the TT of generation 8S at the start. The so-called Aerokit 1 is suitable for the TTRS, the TTS and also the normal TT with S line package. The kit consists of a front splitter and there are flics for the front apron and side sill attachments. In addition, a rear diffuser and optionally a fixed rear wing and an insert for the bonnet can be ordered. The cW elements and part of the rear diffuser are finished in black gloss and the other parts in carbon.
Titanium exhaust system from Akrapovič
On request, a titanium exhaust system with a rear silencer and tailpipe trims made of titanium can be added, which was developed together with the Akrapovič company. It enables weight reduction and generates a significantly improved engine sound. especially on the TT RS. Various lightweight aluminum rims are still available from APR, there are various performance increases and a lowering by means of sport springs or a complete chassis is also possible. The changes are rounded off with some applications for the interior.
