And once again, an English tuner attracts attention. This time it is the Arctic Trucks UK Limited from Warwick scores with a converted VW Amarok. The vehicle is called Amarok AT35 and is no One-off. Arctic Trucks is now accepting orders for the conversion. The main focus is the wheelset and some changes to the bodywork. 17 are fitted with large black alloy wheels in black, which are equipped with huge 315 / 70 all-terrain tires. This is the prerequisite for any amount of propulsion in the field before given. And in order to properly cover the slippers created one's own GFK fender flares all around. They provide a huge look and can of course be painted in body color if desired. And also the chassis has been changed.

Our first impression, because of the huge tires that Amarok is lowered! But that is deceptive because exactly the opposite is the case. The AT35 gets a height adjustment of approx. 25 mm by means of modified springs. In combination with the new tires another advantage in the field. And Arctic Trucks also has plenty of wilderness survival gear available. There is a portable power generator, an additional FM radio, a helpful and very extensive toolbox and also a special jack. In addition, a large fire extinguisher, a first-aid kit and even a defibrillator provide the necessary security in the outback. Better to have one than you have! And who wants to can take a little luxury with the expedition.

off the beaten track, he feels comfortable

This is made possible by a cappuccino / coffee machine and optional work lights provide the necessary illumination around the vehicle. The thought of sitting somewhere outside the civilization with a folding chair on the tailgate, to drink a coffee, while watching the sunrise is quite appealing. The right vehicle for just such a project is the AT35 for sure. More details are available to us on the AT35 of Arctic Trucks currently not available. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
