Since the beefy Mercedes GLE coupe from the end of July we didn't hear from ART tuning GmbH from Nuremberg. But now the tuner comes with an elegantly refined Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the type W222 around the corner, which excuses the waiting time. As it is, you can quickly screw up the style and understatement on a luxury vehicle like the flagship from Stuttgart, like us Vitt Squalo The end of 2015 has impressively proved. An S-class with huge spoiler, felt 158 daytime running lights and bright red brake calipers somehow does not really seem harmonious.

But ART wouldn’t be ART if you didn’t know exactly that, because the S-Class with the Nuremberg accessories looks great and could therefore come directly from the Stuttgart plant. Of course, the main culprit is the subtle body kit to which the S-Class also has the suffix "ART LS“Owes. The kit consists of a front lip with air ducts on the left and right, new, very discreet side skirts, a matching rear diffuser including an ART Sport exhaust system including two integrated exhaust covers, a rear spoiler and even a discreet roof spoiler.
In addition, the W222 was given a set of in-house ART PREMIUM WHEELS light alloy rims of the monoART4 type in 20 inch format. Thanks to the ART lowering using an electric chassis system (for vehicles with air suspension) the S-Class comes approx. 35 mm closer to the road than the production model. If you want, for example, the 350d can be increased from 258PS & 620Nm to a whopping 310PS & 700Nm using the ART DIESEL POWER base and thus also pays its tribute to the more dynamic look.
Body kit & performance enhancement
However, the company offers a whole lot more options for the S-Class. As an example, we would like to mention a performance-enhanced brake system, interior components or small emblems on the outside. The tuner has published his interpretation of the S-Class the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the first pictures.
