Who would have thought that, but they still exist, the typical ones Plastikbomber from Japan. tuner Artisan spirits provides the ultimate proof. The Japanese tuner shows a brand new Toyota Camry with an extensive body kit. Normally, Artisan Spirits body kits always have the suffix “Black Label”, but that doesn't seem to be the case with the Camry. Since Toyota has decided to bring the Camry back to Germany after 14 years, the chances are there Artisan Spirits body kit not necessarily low. But already from the factory, the Camry is anything but inconspicuous and whether this design will come here in Germany will show. The new model of the now eighth generation is available on the new TNGA platform, which also uses the SUV Coupé C-HR, for example. Visually there is something Lexus style but everything is clear and structured.

It looks quite different after the body kit. The already very distinctive front receives a large front spoiler which has small winglets on the right and left. The same applies to the side skirts which also bring the small air ducts in the area of the wheel arches. But it is particularly noticeable at the rear. Here comes the body kit with a roof spoiler, a large spoiler lip for the tailgate and a huge approach to the rear apron in diffuser look. The presentation vehicle donated beyond even a sports exhaust system with blue-burnished tailpipes in the style of the Lexus IS-F and the tail lights have completely darkened.

Rounding out the rear view with a black Toyota emblem, a black Camry logo and the symbol of the tuner. The roof of the Japanese, including the A-pillars and a part of the B-pillar, has been wrapped in shiny black and also a new wheelset and lowering there was. The wheel set was decided on filigree OZ Racing alloy wheels in plain silver and with red central locking optics. At the moment, unfortunately, no information is known about the lowering. But we assume that a coilover suspension or at least threaded springs are installed.

The overall impression of the Camry works in our opinion a little overburdened and in view of the 2,5 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with hybrid technology, the blue-burned tailpipes on the 218 hp Japanese also look out of place. But in the end, of course, all matter of taste! Unfortunately, we do not currently have any more details about the Artisan Spirits Camry. If we receive timely information on further changes not mentioned so far, there will of course be an update for this report.
