The brand new one Aston Martin DB11 is more than just pointing the way for Aston Martin. The British car manufacturer has almost all hopes for the DB9 successor, which was built for a full 12 years. For the first time, the new one is based on a completely new platform and with the DB11 it means "goodbye" to the old VH platform of the V12 Vanquish. And with the engine, too, you are breaking completely new ground because instead of the 5,9-liter V12 from Ford, a 5,2-liter V12 biturbo engine developed by Aston Martin is now used, with plenty of 608 PS & 700 NM torque Provides performance. Inside, the technology such as the Comand infotainment system comes from Mercedes-Benz and there are hardly any changes compared to the C, E and S-Class. In terms of looks, Aston Martin has remained true to itself and so the flagship of the house is unmistakably an Aston Martin. Traditional design meets significantly improved technology and that is the important difference.

If you still have a few euros over, you can use a subtle tuning program to make the € 210.000 and 322 km / h fast DB11 even more exclusive. In cooperation with the specialists from MR the first sports suspension components for the DB11 were ever manufactured. New suspension springs and various wheel spacers help to lower the chassis and ensure that the series wheels fit perfectly with the outer edge of the body. The new V12 engine (5204 cm³, 48 valves, 9,3: 1 compressed) is now ventilated ex works by two turbochargers. The result is a significant increase in performance compared to the DB9 engine, but also a disadvantage. Turbo charging, however, often has the problem that it goes backwards in terms of sound. Fortunately, the DB11 comes with a standard flap exhaust system, which for mariani is the basis for the handcrafted sound tuning.
Even after the modification, the electronic exhaust flaps continue to work as usual, but the Sport and Sport + mode is now unmistakable and fits the DB11 much better. The V12 now throws its power through the exhaust pipes much more powerfully and duller. Mariani also wanted to underline the sporty character of the DB11 and at the same time improve the road holding, so it was decided to cooperate with the Schmidt Wheels company. On the DB11, the Revolution forged wheels were installed, which with their 3-part structure in 21 inches are perfect. They make perfect use of the entire space in the wheel arches and fit perfectly with the body. The new Alu's are equipped with high-performance tires from Pirelli, which measure 275 at the front and a lush 325 at the rear!
