Aston Martin DBS 770 Ultimate debuts with 760 hp!

As the final stage of expansion, the British automobile manufacturer Aston Martin is equipping the DBS up to the 770 Ultimate. And the carmaker's flagship will carry the final DBS nameplate, according to Aston Martin's press release. Since 2018, the DBS has been at the top of Aston Martin's production program. The BiTurbo V12 in the DBS 770 Ultimate makes the DBS the most powerful production Aston Martin of all time. It has received extensive design and construction improvements and will be built 300 times as a coupe and 199 times as a volante. aston martins Quad cam 60 degree 5,2 liter V12 engine in the Ultimate produces 770 hp at 6500 rpm and 900 Nm of torque from 1800 to 5000 rpm. This means that a top speed of 340 km/h is possible.

Power is transmitted via a re-sharpened 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and a mechanical limited-slip differential (LSD). The athlete is braked by means of a carbon-ceramic brake system (CCB) with 410×38 mm discs at the front and 360×32 mm discs at the rear. Important changes are a new steering column, a specially stiffened chassis (new front cross member, different rear vehicle floor etc.) and improvements were also made to the Adaptive Damping System (ADS). And visually something has happened too. The modified front ensures better airflow to the coolers, improved heat management and a sportier look. The clamshell hood features a 'horseshoe' air vent and a new front splitter is also featured.

Other changes include 2×2 twill carbon fiber cantrail surfaces, a different windshield surround, new mirror caps, different gills in the fenders and a carbon rocker panel. At the rear there was a new diffuser and the 21 inch rims are available in three versions. They are fitted with Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires in size 265/35 R21 at the front and 305/30 R21 at the rear.

also as a convertible

And inside? Sports Plus seats with full aniline leather and Alcantara can be seen in the cabin, but the performance seat from Aston Martin can also be selected as an option. New belts and buckles, a DBS 770 Ultimate logo on the center armrest or carbon fiber shift paddles are also standard. Other door sills with DBS 770 Ultimate logo and Limited Edition numbering are also included.

many Q by Aston Martin options available

And like all Aston Martins, the DBS 770 Ultimate can be upgraded with bespoke Q by Aston Martin options. Including Q liveries with various graphics, painted rims (to match the body or graphic colors), decorative inlays, etc. are no problem. The final version of the series flagship should be the best ever in every respect. According to Aston Martin, it should not only be the fastest and most powerful DBS, but also the one that is easiest to drive. Production of the DBS 770 Ultimate is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2023 and first deliveries are scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2023.
