Aston Martin DBX high-performance SUV from Mansory!

The DBX is the first luxury SUV and at the same time the first 5-seater from Aston Martin and thus a completely new type of vehicle from the English luxury manufacturer based in Gaydon. Nevertheless, like all vehicles from Aston Martin, it is a vehicle that is dedicated to the attributes of "beauty", "luxury" and "driving dynamics". So it was only a matter of time before the engineers from MANSORY took on the DBX to refine it as part of a complete conversion.

MANSORY is also refining the entire aerodynamics of the Aston Martin "in-house". This results in an impressive wide body styling in combination with optimized aerodynamics with increased downforce for significantly improved cornering performance. For this purpose, the vehicle front of the DBX is redesigned with a completely new apron including an integrated front lip made of carbon.

The ultra-light and painted carbon bonnet with additional cooling air outlets in exposed carbon completes the redesign of the front section. On the flanks, striking MANSORY extensions ensure the continuation of the design language and make the DBX appear much stronger, but also deeper and more elongated. To increase the downforce on the rear axle, the MANSORY technicians developed an elegant spoiler for mounting on the tailgate as well as a matching roof spoiler - both of which have the design language of the standard spoiler lip of the tailgate and are also made entirely of carbon.

In addition, a new rear apron with diffuser skilfully sets the scene for the striking tailpipes of the sports exhaust system. Numerous components made of carbon such as trim strips, mirror housings and air inlet covers set further striking highlights and are sometimes additionally optically emphasized with accents in the special color "lime green". A new rim design called "DX.5" in the dimensions 10×24 inches (front) and 12,5×24 inches (rear) with the matching tire formats 295/30R24 and 355/25R24 is used for the first time on the DBX.

These not only fill out the front and rear wheel arches in a full and harmonious way, but also combine both sportiness and technical elegance in the best possible way. The color scheme of the rims was chosen to match the overall color concept of the car, also in black and with the rims painted all around in "lime green".

It should also be mentioned that the new “DX.5” rim design, on the one hand, has optimal ventilation of the braking system and, on the other hand, the stylish emphasis on the dynamic appearance of the car has been written into the specifications. The heart of the DBX - its V8 twin turbo engine - also underwent extensive interventions by the engineers in the MANSORY performance department. This includes a completely new engine management system, new and larger turbochargers, a sports air filter and a high-performance sports exhaust system.

The exhaust system can be delivered in two versions, depending on the customer's wishes. The systems differ noticeably in the positioning of the tailpipes; They are either located in the area of ​​the standard opening of the rear apron or open as double pipes close together in the middle of the carbon rear apron. Thanks to all these changes, the DBX, after being converted by MANSORY, has the extremely impressive performance data of 800 PS (series: 550 PS) and a torque increased to 1.000 Nm (series: 700 Nm) on the rollers of the performance test bench.

The corresponding performance data are: Vmax 325 km/h and the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes place in a short 3,8s. Corresponding to the exterior design, the interior is completely black. The special color "lime green" used to accentuate details on the exterior can also be found in many places in the interior.

The edges of the floor mats, the seats, the center console, the decorative stitching on the dashboard and the sports airbag steering wheel are all in this colour. Individually embroidered floor mats, the use of fine visible carbon and the covering of almost all surfaces with the finest leather are further highlights of the interior fittings, which are made by master craftsmen. Just like MANSORY hasn't known it any other way for many years.
