Audi 80 B3 Coupe Widebody Aero-Kit / LIMITED by Prior!

From the German tuner Prior Design We receive news about a project based on an Audi Coupe of the model generation B3 (Production period 1986–1991, also known as Type 89) should arise. Based on the legendary quattro (Sport quattro) introduced in 1980. It is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and Prior Design would like to do so in cooperation with Jean Pierre Krämer from JP Performance as well as “Dr. Celebrate Crazy “Rouven with a widebody aero kit. As already mentioned, it is to be installed on the Audi 10 B80, which was introduced 3 years after the Sport quattro, whose top model was known to be the S2. But at no point did the Coupe have an "RS". Back then, Audi relied exclusively on the Avant for the RS2. It was a cooperation between Audi and Porsche and was based on the Audi 80 Avant of the type B4 / 8C. But if Audi had built an RS Coupé version back then, it would certainly have looked like this.

After four months of design development time, a fantastic kit was created on the PC in Kamp-Lintfort. There is no information about a real converted vehicle, but the virtual images already allow a comprehensive preview of what to expect. The Prior Design body kit shows itself with the style of current RS vehicles and unmistakable reminiscences of the mentioned original quattro. All around there are widely exhibited extensions (Front and rear fenders), matching side skirts with built-in swords and the bonnet has got three striking narrow air inlets. The look is impressively rounded off with a new bumper including a spoiler blade at the front, four large lateral cup wings, a completely new rear apron with a powerful diffuser insert and large fins as well as a befitting sports exhaust system with a single-flow tailpipe.

strictly limited edition of 40 kits

The widebody aero kit for the Audi Coupé will only be available in a strictly limited edition of 40 copies and each kit is signed by PRIOR chief designer Andreas Belzek, Jean Pierre Krämer and Rouven. Incidentally, the limitation is the result of the 40 years mentioned, which have already passed since the presentation of the Audi quattro.
