It's already in the name: SPORTBACK. The crispest body variant of the Audi A3 calls for a dynamic chassis upgrade, because life is simply too short for boring cars. With a whole armada of different components (which are also compatible with the A3 sedan, by the way), H&R knows the importance of the compact Audi model and has hit the ground running. In addition to the classic sport spring set with a fixed lowering rate, adjustable coil springs and TRAK+ wheel spacers, H&R monotube coilovers and H&R sport stabilizers are now also available.

The monotube coilovers impress with racing-oriented "upside-down" technology, ie the damper elements are installed in the head position for better adhesion. The tested adjustment range allows the vehicle's center of gravity to be lowered by up to 60 mm! In addition, more direct steering, reduced rolling movements and the compressed space between wheel and body are on the plus side of the chassis upgrade. The payload remains at the standard level, the driving comfort suitable for long distances. H&R sports stabilizers promise further refinement, which again decimate the rolling movements of the body. They can be installed either at the front or on both axles, can also be combined with the standard chassis and chassis from other suppliers and can also be adjusted twice on the front axle.
