After the guys from ABT Sportsline recently with the ABT RS4, RS6, RS7 and RS Q8 have dared to do a little sweeping over the current RS range from Audi, are now again the "Bread and butter cars“On it. Namely, the revamped Audi A4 of the B9 series has been made, which is available from the dealer as a facelifted variant with a mild hybrid system. For the 45 TFSI petrol engine and the brand new 50 TDI as well as the 45 TDI, the ABT Power "ABT Engine Control" performance upgrade has been made suitable or is at least working on it. In the 45 TDI, it provides a significant plus of 37 hp (27 kW) and 40 Nm torque, so that it goes up from 231 hp (170 kW) and 500 Nm to an impressive 268 hp (197 kW) and 540 Nm. The ABT Power performance upgrade will soon be even more powerful in the powerful 50 TDI. Here the standard 286 PS (210 kW) and 620 NM will probably become 320 PS and the torque will probably have the 700 NM brand firmly in its sights.
Performance increase - plug & play
Exact key data are not yet known. The same applies to the 45 TFSI, which leaves the factory with 245 HP (180 kW) and 370 NM. Here, too, there is currently no information about the planned output. There is something to say about the chassis. On request, the new A4, ABT coilover springs, provides more dynamism in the curves and a sportier appearance. With them you can achieve a variable lowering between 15 and 40 mm all around, which benefits the A4 especially in the lines. The somewhat leggy appearance is history. And you can also remove the bland look of the factory aluminum rims. ABT has its own DR alloy wheels in 19 and 20 inches, but the ER-C, FR and GR variants are also available for the A4.

Regarding the surfaces, you can choose from the black shades of mystic black, matt black or glossy black, which is just right in terms of surface finish. By the way, the 20-inch ABT ER-C rim in matt black was used for the photo vehicle. Especially in combination with the subtle lowering, this setup is extremely successful, as we find. And there are also a few accessories ready for the cabin. For example, one is currently available in the configurator Door entry lighting with Abt logo.
