The Audi RS3 sedan is one of the best compact sports sedans in the world. Possessing many talents, she can be both practical and athletic. Actually, one would like to think that this vehicle no longer needs tuning, but the calculation was made without the Allgäu tuning company ABT. She has decided to put one on 200 pc to bring a limited special series of the RS3 sedan to the market, which bears the name ABT RS3-R Limited Edition hears. We would like to present this extraordinary vehicle to you today.
Black, broad, strong
The most important changes to the ABT RS3-R are, in addition to ABT Lowering springs, which push the vehicle 25 millimeters closer to the asphalt 20-inch alloy wheelsthat on the model name High performance HR20 Listen. You can even add one as an option ABT coilover suspension order with various setting options, which optimizes the driving behavior again.
Regardless of the choice of chassis, however, are special ABT damper, which should make the RS 3 more suitable for the race track. That is why the decision was made in Kempten for a Full carbon aerodynamic packagethat aims to stand out from the crowd. It includes a new one front lip, additional Trim front, modified fender as well as a redesigned one rear apron. Furthermore, the stainless steel tailpipes of the exhaust system finished in matte black.
Specially designed interior
Im Cockpit ABT also made some changes to set the special model apart from the starting point. ABT floor mats, ABT door panels and a modified one start button found their way into the RS 3. Before boarding, however, the passengers are already greeted by special ABT entry lights greeted, which turn on after opening the doors. This is joined by one plaque with serial number, because this vehicle will only be available 200 times.
2,5 liter five-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine
Under the hood, on the other hand, there are no changes to the "normal" RS3, and they are still lurking 400 little horse in the engine compartment. The maximum torque is tight 500 Newton meter, which allows the compact cracker to be catapulted to 3,6 km/h in an incredible 100 seconds. The maximum speed is 290 km/h, like that of a sports car. All-wheel drive is of course standard and the switching work is carried out by a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Our conclusion on the Audi ABT RS3-R Limited Edition:
- From our point of view, the vehicle has succeeded for the most part. However, we would have wished for a power boost from ABT so that the special edition stands out even more clearly from the base.
