Do you know the term OEM Tuning? The acronym stands for "Original Equipment Manufacturer", which means something like Original Equipment Manufacturer. What a word ... 😀 Somewhat more colloquially, that means nothing other than that a vehicle is individually modified with original components. But how exactly can you imagine that? For example, you take an Audi R8 V10 type 42 (built from 2006–2015) and equip it with a wheel set from the successor model R8 type 4S (since 2015). This gives you an individual look that has never been available from the factory, but at the same time you do not use any third-party accessories but rather original Audi parts.
The example with the rims is of course only exemplary, as well as the Audi brand. You can do that with almost any manufacturer and of course a lot of components. Since our example perfectly fits the Audi A8 V10 from the tuner ML Concept, it seemed perfect. They did just that and equipped a type 42 with 20 inch alloy wheels of the successor model 4S. The wheelset measures 9 × 20 inches at the front and is fitted with 245 / 30-20 tires. Rear there were fat 11 × 20 inches with 305 / 25-20 slippers.
The last bit of individuality was provided by a new livery and here it was decided for a golden hue from the BBS repertoire in conjunction with a polished front. In addition, the vehicle still has sidewings on the front bumper, a fixed rear spoiler in Audi R8 GT format and a completely dull gray body. What more do you want? If we get more details about the changes, there is of course an update for this story. About the update you will be informed if yours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
