Is this possibly the most blatant Audi R8 we have seen so far? Maybe! At least find we the part more extreme than that of ABT or Prior Design! The optical highlight of the Ingolstadt is the eye-catching carbon aerodynamic kit in GT3 style with huge rear spoiler and of course the eye-catching wheelset. The wheel set are forged wheels from the Vossen Wheels shelf and more specifically the type LC2-C1 of the LC2 Series. The dimensions of the rims are 20 × 9 inches at the front and behind there are huge 20 × 11,5 inches. In combination with the white finish of the R8 the Polished Brickell Bronze Surface of the wheels particularly noble and gives a nice accent.
The wheelset would never be so good if the R8 were not extremely low. Here you put one Accuair Airride Air Suspension At the press of a button, the R8 is extremely low on the ground and the carbon front splitter would probably be able to behead ants. Incidentally, the GT3 bumper comes directly from Audi and is used on its competition vehicles. The rest of the aerodynamic parts are custom made and created by Maxton Design specifically for the R8. There is a splinter at the front which is held by two vertical struts and two flaps (canards) on each side of the GT3 front apron. It continues with sill swords and at the rear there is a huge diffuser.
This is also held by various aspirations and partially gives a view into the interior of the R8 free. But the visual highlight is definitely the huge wing, which is rounded off at almost the same height as the brutal GT3 Style. Another highlight on the R8 is definitely the roaring straight piped sports exhaust system (custom made by Puffy Performance) which has been laid up in the style of a McLaren or Porsche Carrera GT. It cooperates with the performance increase to just 650 PS using software from the Lamborghini Huracan Performante.
Lots of small changes such as the dark headlights and taillights or the missing Audi emblems round off the fun project on the outside impressively. And also in the interior something has happened. Here were nice details from the team envy factor and original Audi R8 GT racing seats. Unfortunately, more details are currently not available for the R8. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned so far, such as an increase in performance or specific details on the sports exhaust system, there is of course as always an update for this report.
