25 years of performance, prestige and exclusivity. The success story of the Audi high-performance models started with the RS 2 Avant a quarter of a century ago. As a tribute to the first high-performance combi from Audi, Audi Sport GmbH is launching an exclusive equipment package for the TT RS Coupé, RS 4 Avant, RS 5 Coupé, RS 5 Sportback, RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback models. The "25th Anniversary Package RS" can be ordered now. “All of our RS models are strong character types. The RS 2 Avant from 1994 already represented our philosophy of strong performance, individuality and full suitability for everyday use. That is the basis of our success story ", says Oliver Hoffmann, Managing Director of Audi Sport GmbH.
The focus is on individuality
“With the anniversary package, we focused on individuality. We are building on the exterior and interior of our first RS model, the RS 2 Avant. ”The RS 2 Avant from 1994 was the first Audi high-performance station wagon to create a completely new segment. With its 315 hp five-cylinder turbo engine, its extravagant interior design and the bright special Nogaro blue pearl effect finish, it made a strong statement. The RS models now offered with the anniversary package also have this color on request. Alternatively, the shades of myth black, nardo gray and glacier white are available. On the exterior, the anniversary package combines matt aluminum look with shiny black. The front blade, the vertical bars on the RS 4, RS 5, RS 6 and RS 7 as well as the inserts in the side skirts and the horizontal bar on the rear diffuser are also finished in a matt aluminum look.
Rings, RS lettering, rear wing etc. in black
The Audi rings and RS lettering as well as the rear wing on the TT RS Coupé and the exterior mirror housings are finished in glossy black. An exclusive RS anniversary logo with the number "25" is projected onto the floor when the doors are opened and can also be found on the center wheel cover. To match the exterior, the wheels are designed in a bi-color look made of silver and shiny anthracite black. The interior is also inspired by the legendary RS 2: the color black dominates, cobalt blue Alcantara accents the piping on the floor mats and the 12 o'clock marking on the steering wheel rim. On the TT RS, RS 4 and RS 5 fine Nappa leather, the RS sports seats with honeycomb stitching combine with seat center panels in Alcantara - as was the case with the RS 2 Avant. On the RS 6 and RS 7, the seat cover of the RS sports seats is made of perforated Valcona leather.
The interior is adorned with the 25 year logo
Due to the perforation, which for the first time also allows ventilation, a bluish contrast shimmers. Inside, the 25-year logo decorates the shoulder area of the seats, the floor mats and the door mirror. The anniversary package can now be ordered for customers in Germany and other European countries. In Germany it costs from 9.350 euros for the TT RS Coupé, from 10.900 euros for the RS 4 Avant, RS 5 Coupé and RS 5 Sportback and from 14.500 euros for the RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback.
