The key data of the compact Audi RS3 read like those of a super sports car from about 10 years ago. Only 3,8 seconds to 100 km/h, electronically locked 250 (with RS dynamic package including carbon-ceramic brakes at the front up to 290 km/h) and there is 400 PS & 500 NM torque (at 2250 to 5600 rpm) under the hood. All this is paired with an extremely successful look including sporty aggressive details such as the factory 19-inch mixed tires (front 265/30, rear 245/35, optionally even with semi-slicks Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R), large air intakes, rear diffuser and spoilers as well as narrow LED headlights (optionally even with fully adaptive matrix light), which even have a checkered flag graphic integrated into the daytime running lights. In addition, an R, an S and a 3 flash when unlocked - that's great cinema. So you might think that the RS 3 is perfect all around. But the HGP team sees things differently again. Because you see especially in terms of performance yet "spare capacities".

In the video below, the HGP RS 3 from Oliver presented extensively and we also have a few details of Oli & HGP received to the vehicle. So what has been done in terms of performance? The increase in performance 528 PS & 634 Nm one reaches among other things by means of larger turbocharger intake, by means of high-performance intake manifold (red powder-coated & with "HGP-turbo" lettering), there was a K&N air filter element with modified air supply and, of course, the engine electronics by means of software optimization adapted to the new details. HGP also has one for this V/max cancellation carried out and the software can also implement a subtle "boosting"/boosting in "S-manual mode" (by request). With a changed transmission ventilation as well as a oil change to Mobil 1 high-performance oil, the performance upgrade is included TÜV registration rounded.
+300 km/h are easily possible
And how does a plus of 128 PS & 134 NM express itself in the compact RS 3? In significantly improved acceleration values. As already mentioned, it comes from the factory in 3,8 seconds to country road speed and after a further 9,8 seconds the speed is already doubled. After the "HGP cure" the RS 3 manages it in GPS-measured 3,34 seconds to 100 and doubling the speed is after only 7,24 seconds achieved. Maximum were impressive in the video according to the speedometer 326 km/h inside. The rest of the vehicle is (still) standard. Typically HGP it shouldn't stay that way for long, especially since it's already on one upgrade loader is tinkered with. So it will be interesting to see what else follows on the part of HGP. By the way: The upgrade for the engine is also for the TT-RS from MY 2022, the RS Q3 from MY 2022 and the current Cupra Formentor VZ5 available.
