news from the team around AWE Tuning. The latest creation that we encountered from the hallowed halls of AWE Tuning is a modified VW Golf GTI VII. Since the tuner announced in mid-February, its range has been changed many BMW models to expand, we haven't really heard anything again. So now you don't come around the corner with a BMW, but with a tuned VW Golf GTI MK7. We know a few details about tuning the VW Golf GTI. What we have learned we have listed below for you in a small summary.

These are the details we know:

  • possibly a sports exhaust system (info is still pending)
  • Avalanche transceiver Rotiform in multi-spoke design in 19 inches (three-part)
  • H&R sports suspension
  • Brembo brake system with four-piston brake calipers and perforated and internally ventilated discs (365 mm)
  • Sport exhaust + 20 PS with 2 x 102mm tailpipes
  • Sport air filter with Carbon Air Intake System + 18 PS
  • GIAC chip performance increase by 40 to 45 hp
  • Total power just under 300 PS

Certainly, new information and certainly new pictures and videos will soon be online. As soon as this is the case, we will of course put it online and inform you about it.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
