All model variants of the new BMW 2 Series Coupé are also equipped with stroke-dependent dampers as standard, the fine-tuning of which results in a noticeably optimized balance between sportiness and driving comfort as part of driving dynamics testing. Their sensitive response to slight bumps in the road ensures comfortable vibration compensation. When driving over large bumps, the body's movements are controlled by correspondingly higher damping forces. An Adaptive M suspension is available as an option for the new BMW 2 Series Coupé. Its electronically controlled dampers offer the option of activating the appropriate map for both sporty and comfort-oriented driving.

Precise steering, optimized aerodynamic properties.

The new BMW 2 Series Coupé is characterized by its easily controllable handling characteristics, even in highly dynamic driving situations. In addition to the powerful and precisely controllable brakes, the precise steering also shapes the driving behavior of the two-door car. In addition to the balanced axle load distribution between the front and rear wheels, the model-specific application of the steering and the particularly high connection rigidity of the support bearings on the front axle contribute to this.
