Have you ever heard of the M5 Ranch Hand? This is a 2002 BMW E39 M5 with a V8 vacuum cleaner, which was modified with a 3-axis Flowcine Black Arm, a Ronin 2 camera holder and an Alexa mini-setup kit. This allows you to take pictures from car to car at a speed of over 210 km / h. The project was launched thanks to Jeremy Heslup, the director and producer of Valkyr Productions, and originally conceived for a Toyota FJ Cruiser. But since more power was needed at some point, an E39 M5 with around 330.000 km on the clock had to serve. The car came from Colorado and was immediately equipped with a SpeedRail system after purchase, so that a Mclaren 720S can be shot at the Tejon Ranch. The following video shows a short story about the creation of the M5 Ranch Hand as "the bavarian ranchhand".
