With its use in the Procar series, BMW has given the M1 the status of a legend. It will therefore remain the brand's most famous racing car forever. But the M1 was not only used in the Procar series, as this red M1 with an enormous 700 hp shows. A vehicle that looks and sounds incredibly good after decades. Out and about in rainy Goodwood, the red devil and his driver show what they can do. Because the M1 racing car has a couple of borderline driving situations in the film which the driver fortunately was able to correct. Still, it's off to the grass. Fortunately without any damage. The focus is, of course, on the fantastic soundscape of the 3,5-liter in-line six-cylinder from Paul Rosche. The engine, which is also installed in a modified version in the E28 M5, developed 266 hp at 6.500 rpm as a street version, but this expansion stage has a powerful 700 hp under the hood. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
