When a small 1-series BMW has significantly more power than the 635 hp M5 CS (F90), then this can only be a sick thing. But the tuning scene makes exactly that possible and an outstanding example is this M140i (F20) with a tuned in-line six-cylinder. Specifically, the B58 six-transmitter works under the sheet metal, with factory 340 hp, which, however, generates more than double the power in this vehicle. The vehicle belongs to the YouTuber hampshirephoto and was among other things with a Pure800 Stage 3 Package modified by Pure Turbos. With a Stage 2 tuning, the 1er already delivered 480 hp (407 hp on the wheel) and the next step was to remove the original turbocharger and use a larger one Pure800 variant are replaced.
BMW M140i with 730 hp
There was also one more Beast exhaust system and of course a suitable one Software. A first measurement showed 567 hp (483 hp on the bike) and after some tuning it was already 617 hp (525 hp on the bike). And with E30 fuel (70% petrol & 30% ethanol) the power even increased to 670 hp (570 hp at the wheel) with the standard software (ECU). And after flashing the engine control unit, the in-line six-cylinder performed well 730 PS (620 hp on the wheel). You can see the rest in the video!

- Top speed running was with normal fuel (instead of 730 hp, the B58 engine “only” made 620 hp)
