BMW M Motorsport: the designs of the four BMW M4 GT3!

It has been clear for a few weeks that Walkenhorst Motorsport and Schubert Motorsport will each compete in the DTM with two BMW M2022 GT4s in 3. Now it's time to present the designs of the four vehicles. Each bears the colors and lettering of long-standing BMW M Motorsport partners who have remained loyal to the DTM even in their GT3 era and make a valuable contribution to supporting the BMW M Motorsport teams represented there and their drivers. Two-time DTM champion Marco Wittmann (GER) will get back into his “Green Machine” for Walkenhorst Motorsport. Schaeffler and Wittmann's trademark has been the green color of the respective vehicle since the 2019 DTM season. After the BMW M4 DTM and the BMW M6 GT3, the BMW M4 GT3 is now the “Green Machine” for the first time. His team-mate at Walkenhorst Motorsport, Esteban Muth (BEL), will drive a BMW M4 GT3 bearing the lettering of BMW M Motorsport partners CATL and iQOO.

As in the Class 1 times of the DTM, Sheldon van der Linde (RSA) will line up for Schubert Motorsport in Shell colors. As a Premium Technology Partner, Shell was already intensively involved in the development of the BMW M4 GT3. The vehicle of van der Linde's teammate Philipp Eng (AUT) has the RoboMarkets design, which is also already known from the BMW M4 DTM from the Class 1 era. PUMA is the Official Supplier for BMW M Motorsport racing clothing.

We wish him and the Schubert Motorsport team every success in the colors of Shell and all the best for the new season.” The 2022 DTM season begins on April 30 with the first race in Portimão (POR). Before that, official test drives will take place in Hockenheim (GER) and in Portimão.
