A turbo upgrade is now available for the BMW M3/M4 of the F8X series, which increases performance from the standard 431 or 450 hp to over 700 horses. In other words, there is a phenomenal bonus of 300 hp. This is made possible by the so-called TurboZentrum Stage 3optimization. Thus, the two standard MHI turbochargers are exhausted as much as possible. If you rework the exhaust system, the intake and install an upgrade cooler package and an adapted fuel supply, then a maximum of 750 hp can be the result. The Stage 3 optimization ensures that the original turbochargers receive the finest racing technology, with the focus on perfect drivability (Response behavior & boost pressure build-up) is in the foreground.

Identical to the Stage 2 optimization a milled compressor wheel made of aluminum with a slim contour and extended tip technology is installed and the compressor housing is CNC-machined and gap-optimized. The exhaust housing is also machined with the CNC milling machine and the gap is optimized so that the larger exhaust wheel fits. Various changes to the core group, backplate and bearing mounts also improve durability. There is also a reinforced radial bearing, a reinforced 360° axial bearing and the compressor wheel is larger in Stage 3 optimization than in Stage 2.
