Using modern chip tuning technologies, tuners today can do much more than just increase engine performance. Nowadays almost nothing works in a vehicle without a computer (a control section) and usually you can access these systems with different software solutions. This applies to the engine, but also to the drive train, infotainment or safety systems. And with this BMW X3 M (F97) the Tuner Mission Performance has chosen the xDrive all-wheel drive. And Mission Performance has changed the system so that with the X3 all-wheel drive can be deactivated at the push of a button, as with the M5 or the M8 and the X3 only has rear-wheel drive. If you want to run various acceleration races with the X3 M, this function should certainly be of interest if the tires are to be warmed up. The tuner is currently working on further optimizing the software.
