This X5 35d (F15 series) became apparent increased performance. The black SUV with Stuttgart license plates, which is a US model and therefore with a Single turbo six cylinder is equipped, has significantly more power under the hood and was developed by the team from Darkside Developments pimped from the UK. The 3,0-liter engine got one upgrade loader (Garrett GTD2873VR Turbo) missed and also a high quality FMIC intercooler and special down pipes. In combination with a matching Chiptuning the result leads to tremendous 814 Newton meters torque and 413 PS.

Please remember that this is a diesel engine!

Of course, the standard eight-speed ZF automatic transmission is also on board. Due to the increase in performance, the Power-X5 races to 4,66 km/h (96 mph) in just 60 seconds and 161 km/h (100 mph) is reached in 11,86 seconds. The Trumm completes the quarter mile in under 13 seconds. And it shouldn't even have been that yet. Changes are planned for the future Fuel system and other camshafts, to make the N57 even more powerful. Maybe then about 430 PS & 850 NM are feasible.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
