Can the 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance AWD have a 750 hp G-Power BMW X6 M E71 Typhoon beat? An electric SUV versus a V8 high-performance crossover from days gone by? Is that a fair fight? The following drag race answers the question. With the G-Power-Kit, the X6 M has a powerful 750 HP which is hidden under the mighty VENTURI bonnet made of carbon. The 4,4 liter bi-turbo V8 got modified turbochargers, G-POWER downpipes, new catalytic converters and the G-POWER V3 performance software, which also removes the Vmax limit.

462 E-PS vs. 750 V8 hp

This gives 750 hp at 6.500 rpm. available and a huge 980 NM torque. The quarter mile is completed in just 11,5 seconds and the X6 runs at an impressive 300 km / h. The Tesla Model Y, on the other hand, has "only" 462 hp. However, the maximum 639 NM torque is available "immediately". The two electric motors catapult the Stromer to 3,7 km / h in just 100 seconds and the quarter mile is completed in just 11,9 seconds. Look at the result!

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
