Slowly but surely the first companies are starting with their tuning parts for the new one BMW M3 and M4 series. Equipped with the S58 six-cylinder from the high-performance SUVs X3 M and X4 M, you could already see the tuning potential and before anticipate the market launch. And as one of the very first tuners, the team from RaceChip work has now started with a view to increasing performance. And according to the RaceChip test bench, the black M4 from the video does an impressive job right from the factory 542 PS and 670 NM torque. Compared to the factory specification with 510 PS & 650 NM is that of course an announcement. And then there is that performance increase from RaceChip. And that actually pushes the engine to "measured" 649 PS & 760 NM torque. And that only by installing the RaceChip GTS Black Box!
"Measured" 649 PS & 760 NM torque
By the way, that's more than the M5 CS can do. And according to RaceChip, the performance “on the bike” is still impressive from 557 HP. And how fast is the M4? He sprinted from 100 to 200 km / h (62-124 mph) in 6,44 seconds, which is by the way faster than the large 63 S AMG GT 4-door Coupé from Mercedes, it is faster than the AMG GT-S and just a blink of an eye behind at 6,39 seconds Porsche 911 Turbo S. The increase in performance is natural not only available for the BMW M4 G82 Competition, but also for the "not" competition and the technically identical G80 M3. And RaceChip already had one manual M3 G80 (see pictures - above) on site, which will soon be available on the YouTube channel of Autotopnl will be seen.
