This Restomod BMW 1602 was made by the French Paul Lefevre built and carries a hand-formed carbon fiber body. Built on the chassis of a BMW 1602 from 1969, the carbon body has been completely redesigned. It is meticulously hand formed and uses the same foam used in surfboards. The result is a vehicle that is not only particularly light, but also offers a breathtaking look. Especially the large number of carbon parts (Roof, hood, fenders, doors, front, rear, dashboard etc.) impressed. However, you don't really see the lightweight material, because the carbon is completely painted over.

And what is under the hood is not visible to the layperson, but at best audible. That is where the legendary 2,3-litre BMWS14 engine from the E30 M3. The engine is coupled to a manual transmission and it delivers the well-known 210 hp. And inside? Everything is kept simple and subtle, but there are still tasteful design elements. The focus of Vehicle was in any case particularly low weight, and with a ridiculous 816 kilograms, this was impressively achieved.
