This rare BMW E21 323i with the eye-catching stripes on the side is something very special! Because the vehicle was converted in a way that was typical and possible in the style of the 1980s. The base coat is called Graphite metallic grey and the sports sedan was then rebuilt by Schnitzer to get even more power. Since then, the 2,3-liter M20 straight-six with intake manifold injection Bosch K-Jetronic no longer delivers 143 hp and 190 Nm of torque, but has stately 203 PS and 272 Nm to offer. This makes the vehicle almost an unofficial M3, which did not exist ex works in this series. So upgraded it just went 6,7 seconds at highway speed (Series: 9,5 seconds) and maximum 225 km/h inside (series 190 km/h).
BMW E21 Turbo from the tuner Schnitzer Hardy & Beck
Back then, Schnitzer not only installed a turbocharger, but also a massive one Intercooler and one Stainless steel sports exhaust. And the E21 Turbo got additional hardware modifications included Power Steering and a Bilstein suspension. Visually, there was one for the chic paint job Front spoiler, 15 inch BBS rims and spoiler for the tailgate. And the inside of the vehicle is not standard either. There was electric Recaro leather seats , and a Three-spoke steering wheel with classic BMW Motorsport logo. On the other hand, there are no Schnitzer logos to be seen.
