The BMW E34 M5 is now a sought-after classic and the prices for good specimens are rising and rising. And in a new video series by Speed Academy there is now a cool Restomod project based on an E34 M5 that maybe even those who are not fans of the angular classic will change their minds. By the way, the E34 M5 was the last M5, the one Line six-cylinder used. And at the same time it was also the last hand-assembled M5. being straight-six engine has a displacement of 3,6 liters (3,8 in early models) and both engines were always equipped with a Five-speed manual combined. In addition, the E34 M5 also had BMW's first adaptive suspension, which will turn out to be a nightmare in the video.

Speed Academy started the project with the rather run-down M5, which is actually at every point liquids of any kind lost and its Paint was in very bad condition. The mentioned landing gear was disastrous to say the least, so there was plenty to do. The entire vehicle was gereinigt and the entire suspension replaced. With one sentence KW coil springs you ensure a subtle lowering and significantly more driving dynamics.
