Bowler Motors Ltd. acts as a British small series manufacturer (Headquarters: Bowler Motors Ltd, Leonard House, Queen Street, Belper, Derbyshire, DE56 1NR, United Kingdom). The company has specialized in the construction of off-road vehicles for competition use and has been active since the 80s. Since then, the vehicles have enjoyed steadily growing popularity and are also regularly represented by private racing teams at the Dakar Rally and other rally raid events. In 2004 the number of participants with Bowler vehicles was 8 and in 2006 it was 21 cars. Many teams rely on the comparatively low prices and the low conversion effort for rally events.
