In contrast to the BMW 7 Series (G11 / G12) and the new 4 Series (also M3 / M4), the fan base reacted very moderately to the third generation of the X6, despite the huge kidney and the futuristic rear end. Hardly any derogatory remarks and no real outcry up to planned conversion kits. Maybe because the kidneys on the X6 are somehow still just right? Not quite as big as on the 4 Series Coupe and therefore more consistent? Quite possible! As always, the X6 shares the platform and infotainment with the X5 (G05) and again only the design is adjusted. The apron under the kidneys received larger air inlets from BMW and the rear is completely new and extremely futuristic compared to its predecessor due to the additional beads and edges, the new taillights and the new diffuser. And it is precisely this example of the third X6 generation that the tuner Hamann Motorsport, who mainly specializes in vehicles from Munich, has now pre-buttoned.

The company from Laupheim is based on the changes for the X6 already known widebody kit for the X5 (G05) from 10/2019. Basically, the components are only available for the technically identical SAC (Sports Activity Coupe) made to fit. The X6 also received the sporty front spoiler for the M apron and the additional wheel arch covers on the front and rear axles are also included. Hamann refines the already massive rear with a filigree roof spoiler and there is also another spoiler for the tailgate. The highlight of the rear view is definitely the sporty rear diffuser, which is intended to underline the dynamics of the X4, especially in combination with the adapter set with 101 Hamann tailpipes with a diameter of 6 mm. And, of course, Hamann can also supply a wheel set that is appropriate for the widened wheel arches. On request, the wheel arches of the X6 can be filled with the well-known 23-inch "Anniversary Evo" forged wheels.

These are available in the 3 color finishes Black, Hyper Silver and Graphite Gray. In addition, the copy seems to have been lowered by a few millimeters from the pictures and equipped with small accessories such as the Hamann emblems on the front and rear as well as nice accessories for the cabin. Here, however, Hamann states that the components for the interior are currently not yet available. The body kit and the wheelset, on the other hand, have been available since October. If we get more information about the changes to the X6 G06, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply do ours Feed subscribe to.
