Hollywood in Chinese: Baojun Valli in Ghostbusters design!

Almost everyone knows the legendary station wagon from the Ghostbusters film, which is based on a Cadillac Miller Meteor based, and of which only around 200 pieces were built. The vehicle is even known in China, so now one Ghostbusters model based on the new Baojun Valli was created, which is supposed to transport a bit of Hollywood flair from bygone days to the Middle Kingdom. But not only in a new edition of the film, but also with many tuning fans, the vehicle that we are introducing to you today would certainly be well received. And it shows that the re-launch of the Baojun RC-5W, which has now been christened Valli, was by no means wrong, if the marketing strategy is right and the model is now a greater success than at the first attempt.

Show car with a Hollywood attitude.

The first thing to fall is that Ghostbusters logo on the side, which is known all over the world with its crossed-out ghost. To the white exterior paint also joins in red stripe, which stretches from the rear to the B-pillar, and is thus very much based on the original. The Sirens and the roof garden are also very close to Movie carwhich is why it is immediately recognizable that this is an homage to the Hollywood flick. That looks particularly cool Blue light in the grill, which somewhat imitates the logo of the Baojun sister brand Wuling, and immediately signals to the person in front that this is a very special emergency vehicle.

The look is achieved by installing a Airride chassis rounded, making the Baojun Valli crouch deep on the asphalt. There are memories of the chronically overloaded Cadillac from the Ghostbusters film, which at that time still had to get by without an Airride chassis. The Rims are a very special highlight of the vehicle because they are completely chrome-plated and have a solid look that does not have any spokes. They are very reminiscent of them Forgiato Cactus Jack rims, and are in 20 inch format installed. With such an homage to a movie car you can certainly inspire many tuning fans, and the vehicle would probably be an absolute crowd puller not only in China.

A 1,5-liter turbo gasoline engine acts as the drive.

According to our information, there is a pocket under the hood of the Baojun Valli 1,5-liter turbo gasoline engine with 147 hp and 250 Newton meters maximum torque. Unfortunately, we do not know whether it is a version with manual or automatic transmission, but in any case only the front wheels are driven. Equipped in this way, the car is best equipped to Ghost hunting to go, or at least have a brisk game on the autobahn when you're in a bit of a hurry.

Our conclusion on this Baojun Valli:

We think the design goes well with the vehicle, and the whole car definitely looks a lot like the original movie car, even if the real Hollywood vehicle is an old Cadillac Miller meteor.
