In addition to the Kahn Land Rover Defender D90 Vanguard edition The British tuner has taken another vehicle to Geneva for the car show. And this too is a tribute to a legendary car. Namely to the Land Rover Defender Series 2 which was built from 1958 to 1971. As the "Homage II edition", the classic is transformed into a typical restomod project because there are a lot of contemporary accessories installed. However, this is only really noticeable at second glance. The old-school conversion is currently unique and has a wheelbase that has been extended by 20 cm. This results from the fact that the front end is similar to the Flying Huntsman 105 Longnose, has been extended. In other words, the bonnet has grown a full 20 cm and gives the "Homage II" a unique look.

There is also a new grille and a new lighting. It is still kept in the style of the classic, but now equipped with modern LED technology. In any case, the optical highlights are the matt black wheels with their large COOPER Discoverer STT Pro offroad tires in kingsize format. The wheels are attached to a newly built suspension and, in combination with the well-known Kahn Design fender flares and a customized front apron, ensure a very successful look. In addition, the Defender of the Series 2 is wrapped in a striking yellow and received a brand new soft top in black and a black painted roll bar. And, of course, you have also made the interior.
20 cm longer front end
Here, the seats, the headliner, the center console, the dashboard and even small details such as the handles, the sun visors or the paneling around the instruments were covered in leather. Of course everything was made especially for this vehicle in hand and processed in well-known Kahn design perfection.
