The Lotus Seven was definitely one of the most puristic and uncompromising sports car concepts ever. Without a roof and with free-standing wheels at the front, it weighed just 750 kilograms. The English built the Seven from 1957 to 1972. Due to the lack of production, the athlete "almost" died out afterwards. But only almost! The Caterham team secured the official production rights and thus permission to continue building the Seven. But other manufacturers are building or have built in the past replicas that follow the concept of the Seven. For example, the VM Automobile GmbH from the Menschik family with the dreamy VM 77!

The VM 77 accelerates to 5,3 km/h in just 100 seconds, and the two-litre four-cylinder underpins this with a soundscape that only a 40 Weber double carburettor produces.
