The German manufacturer Bastuck (BASTUCK & Co. GmbH) now has a sports exhaust system for the VW Arteon. And this not only ensures a sporty look but also more performance! The complete system is of course made of stainless steel and includes a new middle silencer as well as a rear silencer on the right and left. The two 57-millimeter tailpipes of the damper open into the factory covers of the standard rear apron and the system is only "audible". The system can be ordered with or without a flap function (Silent & Sport Mode) on request. However, the exhaust flap opens at 70 km / h discord automatically. If you want, you can even control the function with an optional remote control. Then there is the so-called racing mode. However, the variant does not have street legal approval!

In combination with the sports exhaust system, Bastuck also offers a performance catalyst for the Arteon. It ensures an optimized flow and enables an improved power output. Bastuck tested the system on an officially 280 PS strong Arteon 3H TSI 4Motion which, however, already delivered 300 PS & 367 Newton meters of torque measured with the series exhaust system. After all, 20 PS & 17 NM more than the information in the vehicle registration. The Bastuck system improves this value to a remarkable 319 hp and 388 Nm and thus ensures another increase.
