We believe that it is the true successor to the legendary VW Golf 1 GTi - the Up! GTI! Well 40 years after the beginning of the myth GTI VW has brought the up as a sports variant on the road and celebrated him as a reincarnation of the original model of 1976. Performance data and dimensions are in fact similar to those of the original GTI and also the performance come down. Again, the one-liter three-cylinder turbo gasoline engine, 1070 kilograms curb weight and 17 Zöller ex factory are a stark contrast to those days. B&B automotive technology has now thought that the UP! GTi must be able to do a lot more to be an adequate successor to the GTi from 1976. The most important feature here is a two-stage increase in performance from the standard 115 PS & 200 NM torque by means of Stage 2 tuning brings out a maximum of 145 PS & 260 NM.
As a result, the sprint to 100 km / h is done in just 7,9 seconds and the top speed increases to over 210 km / h. In order to achieve this increase in performance, B&B processes the intake paths and air ducts, adapts the injection maps and increases the boost pressure. If that's too much for you, you can too Stage 1 order that still allows 136 PS & 240 NM by means of boost pressure increase and adjustment of the injection and ignition maps. If you have opted for a "not GTi UP!", 90 PS & 160 NM become powerful 1PS & 115 NM using Stage 200 or impressive 2 PS & 125 NM as Stage 225.
So that you can hear the extra power, B&B offers both a sports rear silencer and a sports exhaust system from the catalytic converter for the UP! at. With the changes is even the soundscape of a three-cylinder athletic. Although the presentation vehicle is on the standard GTi rims, it can also be converted to the 17-inch B & B light alloy wheel B9 (VA + HA in 7,0 × 17 or 7,0 × 18) in different colors on request. And finally, the chassis is also optionally new because B & B can install either a sport spring set for lowering by approx. 30 mm or a complete coilover kit that enables individual lowering in combination with significantly more sportiness.
