B & B's bad cat - 640PS & 800NM Jaguar F-Type convertible from Siegen

Mcchip-DKR screws on the F-Type, Arden lends a hand and also Piecha design want a piece of the cake! And now the tuning team from B & B Automobiltechnik comes from Siegen (North Rhine-Westphalia) and puts everything in the shade because it conjures up a maximum of 640PS and a brutal 800NM torque so far none out of the big cat yet. B & B is not limited to the SVR top model but has given both the F-Type R and the V8 S two performance levels, which can be supplemented with useful accessories such as a KW coilover kit 3 or a set of B21 alloy wheels in 21 inches can. A high-performance brake system with a brake disc size on the front axle of a mighty 396 millimeters, which can be combined with the above-mentioned B&B Alu's or the original 19 and 20 inch alloy wheels, is also in preparation.

Waiting for it should certainly make sense in view of the significant additional performance. The guys around the B&B Automobiltechnik team officially presented the modified cat yesterday and we are happy to provide you with the first pictures and facts. After the partly comprehensive tuning cure that the potent SVR in particular was allowed to endure, it is now much more powerful and visually more dynamic than the production version and all without any spoilers. If you are thinking of buying an F-Type in the future or already own one, B&B Automobiltechnik is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.

The following changes are available for all variants of the F-Type:

  • adjustable threaded sport spring set (lowering between 5 mm and 30 mm)
  • Sport spring set for lowering by 20mm on the front axle and 15 mm on the rear axle
  • Spacers VA 30mm / HA 40mm.
  • KW coilover kit V3 (adjustable in height, rebound and compression)
  • in preparation: high-performance brake system (brake disc size front axle 396mm, suitable for the original 19 + 20 "inch wheels)
  • B&B light alloy wheels B21 (VA 9,0 x 21 "inches with 255 / 30-21 / HA 10,5 x 21" inches with 295 / 25-21 tires)

    Variant 1 from 575 PS and 700 Nm to 640 PS and 800 Nm for EUR 7.950 - acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,2 seconds (series 3,6 seconds), 0-200 km / h in 10,5 seconds (series 11,7), top speed over 320km / h, changed ratio of the compressor drives, processing of intake paths and air ducts, increasing the boost pressure, adapting injection maps, adapting the automatic transmission)Variant 2 to 600 PS / 740 Nm for EUR 4.950, adaptation of the automatic transmission)

  • two performance levels for the F-Type R available:

    Variant 1 from 550 PS and 680 Nm to 625 PS and 780 Nm for EUR 5.950 (acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,5 seconds (series: 4,2 seconds), 0-200 km / h in 11,2 seconds sec. (series 13,3 sec.), top speed over 320km / h, changed ratio of the compressor drive, processing of intake paths and air ducts, increase of the boost pressure, adaptation of the injection maps, adaptation of the automatic transmission)

    Variant 2. to 585 PS / 720 Nm for EUR 3.950., adaptation of the automatic transmission

  • two performance levels for the F-Type V8 S available:

    Variant 1  from 495 PS and 625 Nm to 600 PS and 740 Nm for EUR 4.950, acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h in 3,6 seconds (series 4,3 seconds), 0-200 km / h in 11,5 seconds . (Series 13,8 sec.), Top speed over 300km / h, changed translation of the compressor drive, processing of intake paths and air ducts, increase in boost pressure, adaptation of the injection maps, adaptation to the automatic transmissionVariant 2 to 550 PS / 680 Nm for EUR 2.950, adaptation of the automatic transmission
