Brutal: BMW 3 Series Compact (E36) N54B30 power!

The E36 Compact was definitely not the favorite of the BMW fan community. And things looked even worse in the tuning scene. Back then, hardly anyone wanted to know anything about the opponent of the Golf. However, the critics at the time had to admit that it was in fact a real driver's car, despite the semi-trailing arm rear suspension from the much older E30, albeit a visually polarizing one. The wheelbase compared to the standard E36 coupé was unchanged, but the 8 inches (approx. 20 cm) at the rear were noticeable. And Halfdan Vatn, the owner of this Compact, has turned his vehicle into an absolute Single copy made. The base vehicle was painted innocent white and even had an S50 engine from an E36 M3 installed when it was bought. But the desire for even more power got this green driving machine off the ground. And she will with one engine fired from the E92 Coupe type 335i. Specifically is the N54B30 six-cylinder from an American E92.

The 3,0-liter BiTurbo six-cylinder under the hood got among other things MMP turbo intakes, Chiptuning, Precision Raceworks ignition coils, a big Intercooler and one Oil Cooler lost. To do this, the engine was coupled to 6-speed N54 gearbox with Motive double disc clutch and also gave it a better soundscape using Supersprint system with Scorpion silencer. But that's not all. Also nice touches like an electric one Hatchback, steering angle sensors, a dynamic traction control and even the E9X on-board computer has one integrated with all functions. In addition, the vehicle is complete by the way restauriert and in the course of construction, each suspension part was painted or powder-coated and also made stronger Poly bushes installed. the Lowering Incidentally, the Compact achieves this by means of KW V3 coilovers and various components (brake discs, differentials, axles, etc.) from the M/Z3, from various E36 to the E9X are now integrated.

Fitment Lab fender flares

The most obvious change to the body are the Fitment Lab fender flares, which were subsequently even widened a little more. They create space for tires in the format 245 at the front and 285 at the rear on 18×9,5 and 18×11 inches Hamann PG1 rims by OZ Racingthat were custom made. And inside? There was in the shade "Peanut Butter" Sparco Evo sports seats with TAKATA racing harnesses and one Wiechers sports roll bar. In addition, a E9X dashboard including iDrive, a M sports steering wheel and lots of Alcantara accents installed in the cabin. Countless details like the new ones side mirror, the bonnet with air vents that sports brake system with yellow saddles that changed Headlights, the Cup spoiler lip, the new tail lights up to XXL rear wing successfully round off the unique piece. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
