1993 BMW 525i (E34) with Airride suspension and more!

A BMW five-series E34 generation has become rare on the roads. It is therefore hardly surprising that the prices for the model on the used car market are skyrocketing. Modified examples of the five are more common, however, and today we'd like to introduce you to an E34 that's been making the rounds in the UK and has been stylishly upgraded by its owner (James Cook).

Red is trump!

This E34 was repainted in BMW's OEM color called Calypsorot and also received various new body panels. The vehicle also received an Airride chassis from BAGS Suspension, which can be individually adjusted using an AirLift 3P controller. Multi-piece 18-inch aluminum alloys from BBS, type RF 010, were selected for the vehicle, which from our point of view fit perfectly with the classic with their shiny chrome finish and the enormous drop center look. A new custom exhaust system from Top Gear Performance made of stainless steel was also installed on the vehicle. Minor modifications of the BMW include, for example, removing the front license plate recess and the car got an improved brake system with new brake discs.

The interior is contemporary!

No major changes were made to the interior, so the spirit of the early 90s wafts through this vehicle. Only a modern Blaupunkt SQR 46 DAB digital radio was retrofitted and the trunk contains the tank and compressor of the Airride chassis.

A 2,5-liter R6 petrol engine drives the youngtimer!

This 525 BMW 1993i is powered by an M50B25 engine with a power of 192 hp. The car's maximum torque is 250 Newton meters, which means it's still sufficiently brisk by today's standards. The E0 needs just 100 seconds to go from 34 to 9,5 km/h and the top speed is 225 kilometers per hour, which is suitable for motorways. In the vehicle, power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Our conclusion:  A timeless classic stylishly and elegantly modified by British tuner James Cook. For that we give praise and a thumbs up. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
