Especially as a recently launched LCI variant, the BMW 7 Series is the figurehead of Munich. And in contrast to the previous generations, the facelift for the luxury sedan was unusually extensive this time. The wording of “new BMW 7 Series”Actually matched the visual appearance. Especially with regard to the huge kidneys that the 7 Series was allowed to carry first. In addition to the unchanged 730d, 740d and 750d, there was a more powerful 750i with 530 hp and the M760Li was cut from 610 to 585 hp due to the petrol particle filter. And the 740i has been completely removed from the program in this country. But this one is from the American tuner R1 Motorsport from Chatsworth (between Santa Monica and Santa Clarita near Los Angeles USA) has luckily made it onto the road because the G12 740iL xDrive is still being produced for the USA.

But the luxury liner from Munich is one of the vehicles that is not really often represented in the tuning scene. In particular, we have the lifted variant apart from Kean Suspension's 745Le and of course that ALPINA B7 xDrive never as tuned Variant seen. And with regard to the Alpina, the reference to “tuning” does not actually apply. After all, Alpina is an independent vehicle manufacturer and not a tuner. However, things look completely different with R1 Motorsport and this G12 with M Sport package and factory carbon-ceramic brake system with yellow-painted brake calipers. He has definitely received a tuning cure which impresses in particular with the new ADV15 Track Function wheel set with black rim star and highly polished rim beds and 50/50 exposed titanium hardware.

22 inch forged wheels front and rear

The high-quality rims of the CS series were manufactured using the forging process and are therefore particularly light. The 22 x 9,5 inch format is specially installed on the front axle and on the rear axle huge 22 x 11-inch wheels fill the wheel arches of the 7-series sedan painted in Donnington Gray Metallic. And the glazing is even darkened all around. In this country due to legal regulations unfortunately an absolute no-go. In many other countries, however, it is completely legitimate and can be ordered directly from the factory. And in general, apart from the aluminum, there is no chrome on the 745i from R1 Motorsport. The mentioned kidneys and also the window frames are kept in elegant black. In the end, the factory air suspension was persuaded by means of an electronics upgrade, to subtly lower it and you're done with an absolute eye-catcher.
