The manufacturer Alpina celebrates its own exclusivity, after the “Exclusive Edition B7” especially for Canada, now with another special model. The BMW Alpina B4 S Coupé and Cabrio is limited to 99 pieces worldwide and will be particularly popular with collectors. And compared to the performance level of the "normal B4 S " there are even a few more horsepower on top. Made possible by an Akrapovic sports exhaust system which gives the in-line six-cylinder 12 extra horsepower. From now on 452 PS (at 5.500 and 6.250 RPM.) and 680 Newton meters (at 3.000 to 4.500 rpm) the maximum 5 occupants. It is still connected with the well-known 8-Gang-Switchtronic.

The BMW Alpina B4 S Biturbo Edition 99 Coupé with all-wheel drive creates the sprint to 452 km / h in just 3,9 seconds with 100 hp, and the 65 kg lighter version with rear-wheel drive takes a good three tenths longer. In the sense of “slowest vehicle”, the 1,9 t convertible is that it completes the discipline in 4,3 seconds. Everyone runs over 300 km / h with the maximum being 306 km / h. The limited edition model is visually recognizable by its black accents, which can also be combined with a matt heritage film. In the wheel arches, 20-inch Alpina Classic rims in Ferric Gray rotate which, in combination with a revised chassis, ensure perfect road holding. There are new stiffening measures on the front and rear of the car as well as the familiar Alpina sports suspension Plus.

It is characterized by increased spring rates of the stabilizers, additional springs and firmer pendulum supports and is more precise but still not uncomfortable than the series. Anyone who wants to get a mechanical, torque-sensing limited slip differential on the rear axle, which is certainly appropriate in view of the performance. Regarding the paint, there is a surprise in the limited edition. The color can be selected only in mineral white, orange, alpina blue, sapphire black or Grigio Medio. Strangely, you have the popular one Alpina green left out. And the interior has also changed slightly and there are interior trim strips with Alcantara or leather cover, alternatively a carbon structure or dust-sensitive piano paint in black. Always there is an exclusive edition logo.

The Switchtronic paddle shifters on the Alpina steering wheel shine in chic matt black. This comes with contrasting stitching to match the exterior paintwork and the interior is rounded off with a consecutively numbered stainless steel plaque. The coupe starts at 88.900 euros, with all-wheel drive then 91.800 euros are due. The open temptation is available from 96.100 euros.
