The 1999 series (E8) discontinued in 31 will be back in the BMW model portfolio at the end of this year. A real sports coupé in the luxury class that targets the Mercedes S-Class Coupe and also closes the gap between the 7 Series and Rolls-Royce. At the Concorso at the Villa d'Este last year, BMW already showed a study as an 8 Series Concept and at the last Geneva Motor Show (March 2018) there was the wonderful one BMW Concept M8 Gran Coupé with four doors that should give an outlook on the upcoming 8 Gran Coupe (G16). Most likely, the M8 will receive the V8 biturbo of the current M5, but in terms of performance it is likely to distribute more than the 600 PS of the M5 to all four wheels. And it's exactly this M8 that we caught up with and virtually changed a bit already.

what will the M8 have in terms of performance? 650, 670 or 700 PS?

However, one must say that especially the bodywork is so successful that we have seen no reason for any changes here. We have only changed the metallic green livery to a dark gray and also replaced the yellow LED daytime running lights with shimmering blue and white. In addition there was a clear lowering by approx. 50-60 mm as well as a 22 Zoll large spoke wheel set in black and red. Rounding out our virtual tuning with a set of black kidneys and completely darkened discs all around.

We have made the following virtual changes:

  • dark gray paint
  • LED daytime running lights in blue / white
  • significant lowering (about 50-60 mm)
  • 22 inch multi-spoke wheel set in black and red
  • Set of black kidneys
  • completely darkened panes

or on BBS rims in 22 inches?

Now our question to you, what do you think of that? Would you like the M8 as modified by us on the computer or would that be “too much” and yet a number too blatant? In any case, I would be happy to see the car in this way or at least something similar on our streets and could imagine that it is quite an eye-catcher. 🙂 Ps.
