So clearly the BMW E89 Z4 is an exotic one! Even if a production number of 115.000 copies up to August 22, 2016 sounds very sporty for the moment, BMW's expectations were definitely higher. At least 3 roadsters and 5 coupés of the predecessor, BMW Z2002, rolled off the production line by July 279.273, 17.815, and this illustrates why BMW simply had to pull the emergency brake. The good thing about such a, but relatively unsuccessful, vehicle is the fact that you can certainly not find it on every corner. And if you then plan an individual conversion then the chance is great to own something unique. And the owner of this extremely modified Z4 apparently wanted something unique! The main focus is of course on the extensive widebody kit from the manufacturer Varis.
Widebody kit & 20 incher
Already beginning 2015 reported we about the Japanese possibility of making the Z4 much more beefy and eye-catching, and this Z4 has been the first to wear the extensive body kit for over 16 months. Apart from the missing rear wing and a slightly more discreet front bumper (without side flaps), the body kit is the same as the version from 2015. Specifically, this means that there was a new front apron with front lip, new wider front fenders, large side skirts, door sill panels and a new rear apron including rear moldings and diffuser system installed. Of course, the Z4 was also lowered significantly and, the whole conversion would not look so exclusive if a new set of alloy wheels had not found space at Bayer. The owner decided on a set of Avant Garde Wheels Alu's of the type F521 (SPEC1 / SPEC2 configuration) in 20 inches and the color matt black. By the way, there were a couple of LSD doors and black kidneys at the front as well as a conspicuous sticker that somehow reminds the Z4 of a DTM car. Avant Garde Wheels has the by TS Auto Design Ltd., tuned Z4 published the days on his page and of course we are happy to show you the pictures. After the extremely comprehensive tuning cure that the Z4 was allowed to endure, its optics are now definitely completely changed, much more individual and certainly unique and should ensure that almost every passerby's head turns independently when he drives past. So if you have been secretly thinking about buying a BMW Z4 E89 for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, Varis & Avant Garde Wheels is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to making the vehicle stand out from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily located near the tuner, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuning partner on site.
