We already had it in January berichtet that the Japanese tuning company "Varis" is working on a body kit for the BMW Z4 of the E89 model series. The pictures from that time showed the Z4 while it was being converted and, in cellphone quality, of the completion. Now we can provide you with better pictures and even a video of the Z4 and have listed a few details below, including the outrageous price. The tuning team around Varis has on this BMW Z4 made the following changes:

(Photos: Varis Japan)

  • Price: approx. 25.500 euros (complete carbon wide body kit)
  • monstrous rear wing
  • On request, Carbonfiber Dynamics from Dortmund imports all parts directly to Germany
  • Front bumper (GFK / Carbon)
  • Front lip (carbon)
  • Front fender (GFK / Carbon)
  • Side skirts (carbon)
  • Door sill paneling (GRP)
  • Rear bumper (GFK)
  • Rear trims (carbon)
  • Diffuser system 1 (VSDC)
  • 5-part rear wing (GRP)
  • Carbon air intakes in the bonnet 859 €)
  • The carbon wings cost 1.059 euros extra (lateral air ducts at the front for 1.059 euros)
  • Rear wing 3.609 Euro

Currently unknown is the exhaust system, the wheelset, the lowering and whether the Z4 has possibly received an increase in performance.

If we have forgotten something you notice, then just tell us in the comment box. Should we also learn in the near future, new details about this tuning conversion, we will inform you of course in this post.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
