Has there ever been a nicer BMW than the E9? We do not know it and in the end this is of course always a matter of taste! But most likely, he would be a hot candidate if there was a poll for this. The E9 is the coupé version of the E3 series built from 1968 to 1977. The E9 was not built that long because the production stopped about 2 years earlier. The production was commissioned by BMW at Karmann in the Rheine plant and a total of 30.546 vehicles were built. By the way, there was the E9 only with six-cylinder in-line engine and the top model was the 206 PS strong 3.0 CSL with 3,2 liter displacement.
Probably the most modern variant, however, was the 3.0 CSi, which came with Bosch D-Jetronic petrol injection and 200 PS. Otherwise it was completely identical to the 3.0 CS. And just such a specimen is this vehicle in plain black that a lowering by means of H&R Monotube coilover kit has received and a beautiful BBS RS Staggered wheelset. In addition, the E9 is completely restored and in a fabulous condition. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
