Right now we have the Bentley Continental GT Coupe on Vellano VJK Alu's berichtet which especially with its bright yellow paintwork attracts everyone's attention, and we are already around the corner with the next copy! This time it is a fourth generation BMW M3 sedan of the type E90. It is hard to believe that this model series was released in autumn 2007 (as a coupé - E92) and then followed in spring 2008 by the convertible (E93) and the sedan (E90) shown here. In addition to the subtle look, the M65's S3 engine is of course the absolute highlight. It has a displacement of 3999 cm³, 8 cylinders in V-shape and its construction largely corresponds to the phenomenal 507 PS S85 engine with 5l displacement of the M5 E60 (cylinder angle is 90 °, the basic dimensions are similar) and replaces the popular S54 in-line six-cylinder -Motor of the E46 predecessor.
With a maximum of 450 PS (M3 GTS), the engine is still absolutely competitive today and the E90 series certainly does not have to hide from the current models. The proof that visually there is no reason for complaint delivers this striking yellow painted (maybe it is a foiling !?) Copy that was published on the timeline of the rim label Vossen Wheels. In addition to the paintwork, the Vossen x Work VWS-1 wheel set with its black painted rim star and the high-gloss rim base is of course an eye-catcher on the Munich sedan. But also a lot of details that do not immediately catch the eye at first glance make the difference here. In front of the M3 got a set of main headlights that have a black inlay and the black kidneys and gills were also attached later. Right & left, the air inlets of the bumper are equipped with carbon fiber components and the subtle spoiler lip on the trunk lid is made of the ultra-light material carbon.
Other changes include a high-quality Brembo brake system with slotted front discs and of course a significant lowering which is so extreme that they either by means of special coilover suspension (for example, from gepfeffert.com) or one Airride Air suspension is achieved. And of course a sports exhaust system should not be missing because the high-speed V8 with the standard exhaust system can hardly be distinguished from an ordinary V8. Here the owner decided on a system with 4x chrome-plated tailpipes, which optically suggests an Eisenmann system. Unfortunately, we have no precise information here either. If we get even more details about the modifications to the M3, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
