BMW M presents: the new BMW i4 M50 Safety Car!

Curtain up for the first fully electric safety car from BMW M: At the Motorcycle Grand Prix of Austria on August 15 at the Red Bull Ring (AUT), BMW M GmbH will be presenting the new BMW i4 as the “Official Car of MotoGP ™” M50 safety car for the FIM Enel MotoE ™ World Cup. It replaces the BMW i8 Safety Car, which previously led the field in the electric motorcycle racing series as part of the MotoGP ™. The new safety car for the FIM Enel MotoE ™ World Cup is based on the BMW i4 M50, which will be launched in November 2021. The first purely electrically powered performance automobile from BMW M GmbH ensures intense driving pleasure. With an electric motor each on the front and rear axles, which together generate a maximum output of 400 kW / 544 hp, and an M-specific chassis technology, it offers fascinating driving dynamics.
