Last September, we showed you what the Aulitzky team from the M235i F22 Coupe, with N55B30 engine, and that with a few changes such as chip tuning, a modified intercooler or a new air intake system, the current M2 F87 can easily be driven around the ears. The then modified coupé also got optical retouching so that the argument for the significantly more expensive top model is becoming increasingly difficult. While you could see the power of the coupé, this is definitely not the case with the current vehicle. It is an F20 M135i 5-door that couldn't be more inconspicuous. The layman would not be able to tell the difference between this vehicle and a 218i with the M Sport package, and that is exactly what makes the vehicle so spectacular. Already from the factory angry 326 PS & 450 NM torque in the compact Munich and thanks to an increase in performance, with the above-mentioned components that the F22 also got, a whopping 420 PS & 630 NM torque are now on paper. If you consider that the E39 generation of the M5 at that time "only" achieved 400 PS & 500 NM torque then it is impressive to see where the journey has gone since then. There have been no visual changes to the vehicle so the surprise effect should be even greater for many. If we get more information about the modifications to the M135i, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
