Following its appearance in Daytona, the BMW M2 CS Racing was presented to the North American BMW dealers at the dealer conference near Miami (USA). BMW M2 CS Racing to continue success story in North America.
The BMW M2 CS Racing builds on the extremely successful past of its predecessor models in North America. Since 2016, BMW customer teams have won the team title and the driver title twice in the TC America and its predecessor series, the BMW M235i Racing and the BMW M240i Racing. This balance should be continued with the new vehicle. The BMW M2 CS Racing has all the basic requirements for a successful entry-level model in motorsport. The new customer sports vehicle is powered by an S55 in-line six-cylinder with BMW M TwinPower Turbo technology, which with a displacement of 2.979 ccm in the racing version, depending on the Balance of Performance or Permit B classification, between 280 hp (205 kW) and 365 HP (268 kW).
