Now it is also available for the BMW M2! The team around the Sauerland chassis specialists from H&R has for the first time height-adjustable spring systems for the potent Munich-based company in its range, which have been specially developed ex works for the increasing number of automobiles with adaptive chassis or hardness-adjustable dampers. But H&R also supplies the innovative components for a large number of other vehicles. And of course, as is usual at H&R, everything comes with a parts certificate and is "Made in Germany". Available for example for Audi A4, A5, Q5, SQ5 and R8, Mercedes C-Class + C63 AMG, many Porsche models and of course vehicles from BMW. Not only can the M2 be modified here, but BMW M models such as the M3, M4 or X5M can also be equipped with the chassis components.
Fine tuning for series shock absorbers
The adjustment mechanism of the H&R HV spring systems has been thought through down to the last detail and, by using the adaptive series dampers, enables the vehicle's center of gravity to be continuously lowered in the tested adjustment range of up to 50 millimeters (depending on the vehicle model). These are values that could previously only be achieved with a classic coilover kit. You don't have to accept any functional restrictions, and you don't need to adapt the control electronics. In order to make this possible, the HV spring systems have been matched to the corresponding series shock absorbers and the damper characteristics for each vehicle. The advantages of adaptive chassis technology are thus fully exploited. The result is a particularly sporty vehicle appearance due to the lowered center of gravity and a significant increase in driving dynamics.
